Poem
Her thoughts are scattered Her emotions running wild Everything seems to be a bit off She doesn't quite feel like herself Unsure of how to explain it to others When she tries to talk about it she's at a loss for words When she tries to write nothing comes out right Someone once said write what's in your heart and soul Just put it on paper and revise it later Usually when nothing else works Her writing always does the trick But even now she finds herself at a crossroad Her writing has always reflected her thoughts Her own way of escaping it all But now even that doesn’t seem to be the cure Perhaps it's because her writing has always been so personal And now even in that it shows the confusion she holds within She can't run nor can she hide The problem at hand she must face But where to start she has no clue Seems as if no matter what she tries to do She feels as if she stands in a crowd Screaming so loud yet no one can hear Almost as if she can't really be seen Leaving her feeling invisible to those around her As no one really understands what she's going thru All the things she used to do for peace Only leaves her with more questions As to why she can’t escape all that she's feeling now All this just leaves her feeling so broken A new book she tries to open Thinking of starting over once more But a new page in a new book Doesn't change a thing There's so much she has overcome And this too will pass It just seems as if it won't pass fast enough A fresh start, a fresh heart, a fresh way of seeing the world Those are the things she seeks And yet those are things she can't seem to find No matter where she turns or where she looks But still she finds the courage to keep pushing Trying again and again Her own hero she has become Learning that no one would fight for her but her So even when she struggles she refuses to give up Cuz when you are at your lowest She's come to learn That from there it can only get better And though it may not happen overnight IT WILL HAPPEN In that much she has faith After all she's been here before And if you can get thru it once You can get thru it again You just gotta hang on for the ride Keep your head held high And matter what else you do Never Give up the Fight!!!
