Poem
If one seemed on being happy and smiling Knowing a tragedy has struck in life Then, the one is living on a huge lie Because the heart is stabbed by one's betrayal A selfish traitor in the dark midst Became the worst enemy in life May look like an innocent to other But in reality, it's seen as a coward criminal Everyone keeps asking this pointless question "Are you going to be all right?" Outside, it's hidden with energetic smiles But inside... it's a screaming, agonized heart This disease cannot be healed or cured Spreading like an emotional wildfire Or getting stabbed by a thousand knives And possibly draining the inner strength Family? Not able to talk to them. Friends? Not allowing them to be closer. Possessions? Can't get no satisfaction. Life? Don't you dare to talk about life! Always been everybody's burden Can't do anything right for anyone It's never enough for everyone Burdened people are to be completely erased Tired of these lies and betrayals Exhausted from the letdowns and rejections Angry from the pain and heartbreak Dying from the sadness and emptiness Hunger cannot give the strength Sleep cannot wipe away the tears People cannot give the comfort Miracles cannot heal broken hearts Crying hard and endlessly in the nights Alone in a lonely bedroom of darkness Screaming in agony from the heartbroken pain Burning in a raging anger against the betrayer Depressed is all the only real feeling Wanting to be locked in total isolation Fear of all the teasing and mockery Entrapped in an outside world full of lies The only possible way to a painless end? Is to die like the way Veronika did on her own story Let the unhappy and harmed body take control Slowly waiting for the untimely death But before that, let a sad son be sung Or let a final letter to be written upon Confessing a final and painful farewell For there's no point to be happy again Even if tears are falling endlessly No one will hear the cries of help Keeping a great distance from the world This is done to protect everyone from the depressed one No acceptance and no love All rejections and all heartbreak True happiness being lost forever Consumed forever in eternal darkness As a living person or a dead ghost Alone and deeply depressed Carrying the shackles of loneliness And the chains tightening the sorrows From the beginning to its tragic end Shackles and chains never to be free Destined to become one kind of person A prisoner of heartbreak and depression
