Whichever way you choose to be happy is fine
As long as you respect who I am and what’s mine
Age is nothing, just a strangely crafted number
As long as you don’t let your zeal for life slumber

There are so many poor men, endlessly aching to be rich
But better is a drunkard who lays peacefully in his ditch
His snores are a sermon life is trying to preach
Enjoy the moment, never mind what you can’t reach

Whichever way you choose to be happy, it’s your choice
As long as you respect who I am, and hear my voice
Age is nothing, just memories clustered in a dust bin
It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you have being

So you have problems, so does everyone else you know
Danger is somehow reaped, whichever seed you sow
So in the midday sorrow sun, let not your shadow show
Just smiles at strangers, and let your face glow

Whichever way you choose to be happy, feel not guilty
As long as you hurt not others or ignore their beauty
Age is nothing, just days melted away by the sun
Don’t let the sun also melt away your fun

The rich have their gold locked away in castles
Might men may stand tall and boast in their muscles
But true peace is the squeeze of toils and hustles
When your ears can hear the singing of the sparrows

Whichever way you choose to be happy, chose now
And life will take care of you somehow
Age is nothing, just experiences recorded in a diary
Enjoy the day, and too see the next one, don’t hurry
