Poem
By the grace of above you came, humbly came in my aim. Shock I am as you came, I defy everything that the above bring in. Even storms from the angel I never gave in, just to get away with Him. Rotten clothes from the storm I warp me in, expecting for the cold to be drift apart from me, Yet holes I never saw gave chilling cold to my bone. Due to my pride, walking chin up was my game, even though my bones are fractured in. Eating the smell from the restaurant where I just pass by, gave me strength to continue the game. Yet growling bigger my stomach I have, catching every scent from the resto was my only food for the game. I suddenly pass an old maiden by the street, eating bread and butter from another poor man’s bin. She held it to me with a soft smile from ear to ear, yet I refuse for I now this is just a temptation for me to fall in. As the sun bids goodnight to the light of evening sky, cold wind blew into the street of the place I call home. To His might, it rain, pouring heavy as if waving goodbye to His prodigal son. I am definitely tired, tired for the day and even for the night, I want to cry under the crying sky hoping for it will not be of sight. Then the old maiden came, bringing umbrella of gold and silver to where I stand. “Take this young boy, I know you need it more than I do” I want to refuse but before I do, just like the wind blew she fly away from where I stand. To my deepest heart I cry, calling His name I try not to mind, “Oh Lord, forgive me I pray” the only words that came out to mine. Then the rain poured harder as it may, washing every dirt from the street I live in. Then bright light came to me, as I kneel down to where I stand, to my sight I thought it was His blessing but it was just a car passing. To my knees I never stand hoping this light will illuminate the darkest part of mine. And so it does, the car passing has a blessing, sparing me from the bigger tires to hit me. I thought for a while, I am blessed beyond what I did, ignoring and defying what the above bring and giving in. And so I know, its time for me to go, go far not from Him.
