Every tear I ever cried, was if we were not okay
And sorry love I promise to try is all you needed to say
I promise that I won’t hurt you again, was all I wanted to hear
And only those few words coming from you, would wipe away each fear

I didn't give up on us
I just reached the point where things got too much
You said “let’s work things out, I’ll do anything you say”
