Choosing" Everyday we are chosen to see a brand new day We walk alot of places But fear to walk in Faith We've become such an asset to this world What are we doing, we're feening for a pot that we can't finish brewing Yet we refuse to live the right way Still stuck on what others might say Paving away someone died And all we do is live a lie We only cry when things go Bad We don't yearn for that relationship we never had had Unconditional what is that God gives us a Word How do we react We turn our back Totally the opposite way Walk around like everything is okay When we don't realize we are loosing While others are out here choosing Is it confusing to be ashame to say I want to serve you Lord in every way Do I display the life of a Christian Is my walk with my Father one that glistens Do I need a fixing Or is my soul broke When I climb is there still rope For hope or is it done Has the enemy begun To try and take me No please don't mistake me God I won't forsake thee I'm tired of missing You don't require a lot just listen be obedient pay attention To your voice and the consequences It's my choice I have fallen time after time And you've caught me With my battles you have fought thee And I've just sat, now realizing you've always had my back I don't need a plaque or recognition With my sins I ask that they're forgiven Jesus had risen this I know Why is it so hard to let go Of this place we we're created Yet we treat each other like we are hated One another how Could I be so self centered When it comes to you I'm out here working really hurting Because I'm not getting treated like I deserve and That's a word in its self This I know I just want to let go of me and be more of you I want to represent the truth Even in my youth of age I don't want to continue to make the same mistakes I know in life I'll fall down But in the end I want my wings and my crown I want to be found and not lost I want to give praise for cost It's deeper than just being here on earth I want to be a vision of rebirth Of a feeling that only God can bring I want to earn things Not let them be given I want to choose to follow God that's my decision I'd rather lose this world we live in At its pace I'd rather thank him for his Grace I know I haven't done everything right I just want to live right Lead and I promise to follow I'll leave it all behind just to get right with you Whether I win or I'm loosing It's you Lord I'm choosing By:Concetta Hardnett 7/26/14
