Poem

A winter wonderland in all of it's glory,
a peace within it holds it's own story.
Birds are singing gracefully frolicking in their nest,
while creatures of the woods awaken from a long nights rest.
Crystalized trees from an icestorm from before,
the scene is like stepping through a most magical door.
The sun is shining through aluminating the trees,
like transparent glass putting my soul at ease.
On this cold brisk morning I breath in the fresh air,
surrounded by beauty like fine china so rare.
The trees were glazed so elegant and sheek,
a kiss from mother nature had just grazed my cheek.
The snow was white like the wings of a dove,
painted through God's eyes in Heaven above.
Soaking up the moment of this wintery bliss,
when springtime is born I will surely miss.
