to love is so hard to do especially when the one i love is you
i try so hard to maintain the faith
but everytime i open up my heart gets broken
to love is the best thing to do especially when the one i love is you
i tell myself all the time
that forever and always you'll be mine
but i can't stand the fact that you love someone else
i tell you she's not the one, i tell you i'm the one
not once, but twice do you ignore my feelings
brush them away to never be felt again
you dont seem to care that i love you so
nor do you take the time to examine my heart, my soul, the feelings i have
give me a chance to prove myself to you, give me a chance to show you that i 
love you really i do
from the soul of my heart i declare this to you
that who i am is not complete unless, in my life you are
