Somewhere beyond the depths of imagination
A thought strives with fear and perception.
Whether given a choice or not
The mind is always in constant thought.
Wandering the field of dreams
A heartbroken piece held up by beams.
Telling a story of excitement and love
Capturing the eyes like a soaring dove.
In one moment the dream can be lost
Which is why it can be a grave cost.
To imagine happiness all around
Yet such a place has not been found.
Once the world is put to sleep
Every closed eye is counting sheep.
