WHOLE AGAIN

While young on the ladder of growth,

I boarded a similar covenant ship;

Having summoned the great Teacher,

And sworn a thick fealty – hinged on

An immutable decision to pave way

For a diminutive obstruction route to glory.



The agreement was hammered hard –

To the board formed from titanium, unknown – 

For an imperative invitation for assistance

In selecting a perfectly designed lighter vessel –

The requisite other half – for solid standing;

To end the sentence of one immured by loneliness.







For ages we walked with our pact in hand;

Him doing His; and I doing mine – utterly;

Then, unexpectedly, along came the magnetic vamp,

Strongly swinging seductively – a hot form on loose.

Many of my counterparts drooled at the wild poses.

But I became the attractive destination.




Neglecting the vow tightly spoken in place,

I gave my being over to amorous affiliations,

Basking on the beach of unhinged gratifications, 
 
Lost on the island of debased connections.

My companion was the mistress of intense satisfaction,

An experienced docent of hardcore perversion.

 


I timelessly practiced wordless abominations;

The servant and master of ineffable depravities.

It went on, unhindered; rigidly gripped by lusts;

And like it commenced, the brightness dimmed;

Dimmed and became dark – utterly blinding;

The soulless initiator fled in the thick of it.




Forlorn and groping in the closed valley,

Large darts of bowel regrets found home – 

Accompanied by storms of a joyful ex-life.

Riven by guilt; ripped by realized folly,

I again contacted the covenant keeper.

Mercifully, He materialized and made me whole, again.
