Some days
I laugh sometimes when I think 
about you
And I cry sometimes cuz I'm still 
without you
Mostly your memories they all make 
me smile 
But they still tug at my heart every 
once in a while
Some days
It’s like you never left
I swear I hear your voice and your 
footsteps
It’s like I can feel your body against 
mine
I'd stop breathing to rewind the time
Some days
Dear God please I kneel before you
Ask him for a glimpse of you
If I close my eyes I can smell the 
scent of you
My soul pulling desperately just to 
feel the touch of you
Some days
I try not to think about not being 
with you
But I was lost here before I found 
you
Everything I do is for you
My whole world surrounds you, 
you're so beautiful
Some days
I can't help but think about all the 
times that you saved me
I'm overwhelmed by the guilt that I 
couldn't do the same thing
They say that time will ease the pain
But this time it hurts worse every 
day you're away

Every day that passes is another day 
that I'm stuck here without you
I try to do the things we used to do
It still makes me smile just to think 
of you
I wake up waiting for bedtime so I 
can dream of you

I love it when it rains outside
Lay under an open window and 
stare into the sky
Pretend that the rain drops are 
tears from your eyes
So a part of you is still alive
Some days
I'd never speak again for one last 
conversation with you
Just to tell you everything that I 
meant to
I wish you could feel how blessed I 
was to receive your love
And how healing the pureness was 
of your beautiful soul, you're so 
beautiful.
