The Plans I Have For You

“11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jer 29:11-14 NIV

I know The Plans I Have For You;
I made them before you were born.
Plans to prosper everything you do;
Never to cause you harm.
In my plans are hope and a future,
When you call upon my name.
I will always listen to you;
By your side loyally remain.

First you must seek me,
With earnestness of heart.
When I am found by you;
From Satan’s captivity you’ll depart.
Freedom from bondage,
I plan for all my children,
But each must seek me first—
Worldly desires abandon.

Will you live for yourself—
Thinking not of others?
Careers are for self,
But service is for sisters and brothers.
The Plans I Have For You
Will fill you with great joy.
Passion will take the place of work,
When my plans you deploy.

For me to instigate,
The Plans I Have For You,
You must first be willing
To trust my point of view.
For I am your Father and Creator—
In my wisdom you’ll find peace.
Great joy and true fulfillment
Are the blessings I release.
