What, Me Worry?

There’s no reason for concern that I can see
For I have a rich uncle who will care of me

He outlines in detail what I’m allowed to do
And he provides money, food & protection too

So, to decree what is best, he really does try
And regulates what I’m allowed to sell or buy

If I should hold a job, he will like that fine
For then he says, “What is yours is mine.”

But if I should become disabled, by heck,
My uncle will send me a monthly check

But uncle has a habit of getting into trouble
I’m expected to help him out on the double

Because it is fights that he just loves to pick
His nose into others’ affairs he’ll boldly stick

He then runs up debts more than he can pay
And says, “Your children will do it someday.”

I sometimes worry that uncle will go broke
But he just prints more money for his poke

Then I say, “Oh my goodness gracious me.
How fine it is to be able to get money free.”
