You ask me where I've gone to and how I've been,
I stop for a second where do I begin?
It's probably for the best if I don't say what's on my mind.
So I take a deep breath and tell you that I'm fine.
Can you tell that I was bluffing?
That the problem isn't nothing?
That I'm tired of being second string,
Until you need someone to cling
Onto, Because everything is wrong, too,
For you. But maybe it's not,
I'm just guessing, and second guessing.
But I really need to ask you,
How can you sit there with a smile, and be happy,
When it's flat out hypocrisy,
Worse than our democracy,
Leaving your lips, 
My life is not your fallacy,
To screw up, 
Bite into and chew up.
So step off and step down off your platform,
You see I'm just about to transform,
And become reborn.
And I just want to forewarn you,
That you better watch out, 
I'm pulling all the stops out,
And going head on into what? 
I'm gonna find out.
No doubt,
You're not dealing with a girl scout.
I'm done being polite,
And acting alright,
And being just another ear for you to cry in all night.
But when I need you the most,
It's like embracing a ghost,
And there you are on the coast,
Gonna party like the west side.
And while you live it up in the Hotel Cali,
I wonder how am I supposed to stay in the valley. 
So are you ready for my big finale?
I'm done with all this stuff,
Enough is enough.
Talk to me again, when your life's less rough.
When you can actually remember what a friend feels like.
But until you can, you can take a hike.
