Poem
See the eye growing from the madness of truth Wacth the story unfold from the depths of Hell In the middle of the eye of the raging storm. "SLAM!" Goes the door, creaking off those old hinges. Trying to pace away the truth, Running, wishing, comes together Can't think straight, letting things break inside. Mile high barriers shattering like glass, Giving up to the pressure of a shotgun shell, Losing to the rage, the animal inside. Racing up the green grass hill Wanting a target for the frustaration, have found the Mark. "One. Two. Three." quick hits to the sappy brown bark. Knuckles start to rip open and Ooze our red blood, The Tree Always Wins, But so lost in the animal, nothing matters But using the adrenaline rush for Something powerful and physical. rying out in to the black night, Letting out the emotional hold the Revealed Truth and Lies have given. Wanting for more release, Want this aggression gone Like nothing else before, "SMASH!" Goes the already scratched up knuckles in to another solid object, A Giant Rock, Giant Rock feels no pain Has no man-made dent About the size of a raging fist imprinted in its unbroken surface. The Giant Rock Always Wins Well, my friend Starting to wish the truth had not been said, See the bandages on the left hand and the cast fitted for the right Know what has been done, Gone and tried to break something that can not be broken, No matter how easy it seems when you are drugged up Seeing the color of revenge, red. Knowing what remians, tonight there will be Another episode Can only imagine what else will become broken After the fight that human flesh can never win. Deadly quiet, No scurrying of pests in the mildew soaked grass. No one whispering in the dead of the night. Nothing. Until a beasyly roar escapes in to the black of the night. The roar screams in to the black void, yelling, " Why does the Tree Always Win!"
