If i could

i would collect blades of grass, of
infinite supply
and have the sky place them where you step
so you can walk with mother nature, with green life inbetween your toes
a soft comfortable magic
wherever
whenever you wished

i would intensify
the sensitivity, of your sense of touch
and at times, be simultaneously kissing
and gently touching your entire body
euphoric
electric and radiant
where the pulse of the universe can be felt
through your fingertips
try.... try and touch the sky
feel the universe living
breathing

i would grab the jungle
and shake the trees that dream
awakening everything
sleeping through nothing
dropping leaves, as you walked natures path
as if
leaves were free tickets
each one, with
infinite possibilities

i would write a thousand poems
a thousand different ways of saying
i love you, then pick
just one
that special one
that stands out from the rest
and keep it for 5 years
waiting for an extra special occasion
to read you a poem
a very special poem

i would travel the entire globe
in an instant
and find the rarest
and most beautiful flower of the wild
in between african ranges
beside the river in brazil
and pick just one
to give to you
along with that special poem
this special poem
