Poem
I want to introduce you to the person I have become Before my heart seals the entrance to my soul A precautionary measure; Catch this fleeting moment Before I become numb I look upon you with Indescribable mystery Like paintings made ages before us Anticipating The kiss to consume all Lips quivering and pointed towards your delicious mouth Inebriated with euphoria, stumbling blindly Anticipating To delve into every cavity Of your complexity Petrified Is my heart pure enough to match one as chaste as yours? My trepidating heart Shakes Immeasurable against all of fantasies. I want to be desirable Enough to startle you a sharp intake of breathe so my own exhalation can calmly continue For so long skeptical but now Seeing myself through your eyes Hidden beauties That only you can guide me to Realizing that true happiness Is a journey i'll take as many steps as needed to get me to you To show you my imperfections Is courageous? Valiant ? I hold up the proverbial branch Needing the assurances that like those ancient paintings we will last Withstanding pressures of the external world Yet In spite of everything can considered even more beautiful Evermore I continue to reach my fingers towards your back to pull you closer To feel your heart racing Against my own Finally understanding what they mean when two hearts Are one. Passé But I don’t care I love you But that does not define me I am the sighs from your lips as you slumber I am the creases of your smile I am the wind brushing against your hair Soft like a downy pillow Resting my head on your shoulder protected this is where I belong at the end of the day What I am Is nothing; You can describe I am So in love Im drowning in the idealism of amour! basking in it
