Poem
Another presence roams inside me, its thoughts presses into my mind and its desires rot into the core of my soul. Its desires and wishes are only pleasures filled with pain; I repel its offers of a gratifying but bitter intent. Nevertheless it never wavers from its path to tempt me into its void of a pit, it whispers violently and sweetly “I know YOU better than you know yourself, so why don’t you let your hand move freely and feel the warmth it lust for, let it mark your face with its deeds.” I fear his words, words which perhaps may have truth hidden in them, no matter how false and delusional they may seem. But I am not what you think I am, nor will I ever be what you tempt me to be. “Tempt you, no I am merely guiding you for you are no different than this stout man who says he will help anyone in need and here he is indulging himself in front of these outstretched hands of famished children’s; you’re just like him, nothing more than a hypocrite who wants peace. Your just like everyone else in this world, you let this society pick into your minds and weed out the truth, and what do you do you idly sit until your nothing more than a puppet for their amusement.” Know I’m a hypocrite who wants peace, is it because I don’t fall in line with the rest when they say recycle and save energy, is it because my eyes view peace on a grander scale then doing these small deeds, these small deeds that they still don’t accept and only will show progress when it’s too late. “What makes you think your peace or any peace at all will resolve our problems, peace has only one flavor, but war has so many flavors it produces such as genocide, hate, anger, poverty, hunger, and so, so much more. Its best yet is death; I ask you how peace can compete with such a potent flavor, when peace itself has but one taste. A taste, a flavor that will eventually fade away in the mouth of all humans like all unwanted products that cast them away from their comfort zones. Why you may ask because they choose to create a heaven on earth but this heaven is none other than one riddled with sins and lies.”
