i fell four thousand, eight hundred ten miles down the stairs
you avoid the blame, but i started this first
i died by the sulfur at the end of the sea
and you always tell me you'll be here for me

i'm thirsting like that kitty at the edge of your block
you don't even notice how i know what you don't
i'm hooked on to you like your own fishing pole
you take me, the fish, then swallow me whole

don't ruin what i haven't yet to plan
but if you're leaving please leave for good
i still want you here with me but why do you care?
you're telling me to go but where?

with that stare in your eyes
i can always tell you don't want to be mine
but i'm not worth a chance with you
but nothing matters of what i only do...

i'm trying to maintain some sense of sanity
i'm throwing books and breaking things
i beg to the moon that one day you won't frown
but to the sun, what ever comes up must come down

i can't resist not being with you
but you will never give me a chance to prove my worth
i'm four thousand, eight hundred ten miles away from you
but what am i ever gonna do?
