Chasing the Heartbeat Heart racing, pulse chasing, I used to be a living hell, But your love, man, it knocked me off my feet, your kiss was sweet candy made of sugar cane,  I’m no longer bound, not tied to my past, but on this mind-bending road of truth, I found in the gospel of love in you that will last, yeah, somethin’ got into me, sweet women, now I’m kickin' the blues to the past, I’ve paid my dues in love and lost, as a spark ignites deep, bright, I’m one step closer to your heartbeat, the rhythm, a whisper, a pulse beneath my skin, A jazz melody humming softly, pulling me in, your body’s perfume, It could be Chanel,  your intoxicating spell has got me to no end, each breath a love promise, a secret to tell.
