   Tulip Larry was being groomed for the role of fairy.
   He required a lot of assistance,
   Since the form letter discovered his existence.
   Received in the mail during a winter of hail.

   Tulip Larry read the instructions that came with the kit.
   "Do read before doing.
    The instructions are specific!
    We hope you are not very hairy,
    Since you've chosen to play the role of fairy.
    Without further ado,
    This is what you must do:
    First pluck any extraneous hair,
    Until your visage is quite fair.
    Next try on the tutu for fit.
    Practice bowing at the knee without doing a split.
    Finally, Take the gold wings and attach them firmly to your shoulders.
    The play will begin at ten after ten.
    Please don't arrive after then!"

   Tulip Larry spent the day turning into a fairy,
   He was instructed to play.
   Close to the time he was due to leave,
   A knock came at his cabin door.
   KNOCK! KNOCK!
   He had followed the instructions down to a T.
   Could even bow at the knee!

   "Why should I let you in?
   I might be the best fairy to begin!"

   The small voice began to shout,
   "The kit was sent to you by mistake,
    Now give it up before I am late!"

   Tulip Larry softly said, "I'll make you a deal.
                I want to know how a fairy will feel.
   Let me keep half the kit and we can go as fairy twins."

   They agreed to the deal and were a hit.
   They kept the outfit looking nice.
   Now Tulip Larry had a vice,
   Became a star every Friday and Saturday night!
