Poem
What is a father? One might ask. He is a species that helps the female of that species to produce life of an offspring. And, after that, is supportive in the development of the offspring. This would be a formal definition. However, where the development of the offspring to the female becomes present, the supportive being is not often at times there. Therefore, the offspring and their mom are left to fend for themselves. But this poem is about the supportive parent, namely the Father of the species. Who protects, loves, and cherishes its young. Now we have someone or species who has accepted their responsibility as a parent to that species. And does what is required. Fathers come in all aspects. They love, protect, and guide the offspring through to adulthood. Some take on the female's place through death or separation. Love and protection are always at the front of the relationship. The father shapes the offspring into becoming a replica of himself so that the offspring may know his/her place in the world. And reproduces as such. Father's role is a great one. He is the head of the household for that species. His commands are great and should be followed to the letter. Our Lord put great demands on Fathers because they are the leaders. If you become a father, take great pride as one. Mistakes will be made; no one is perfect. However, love and endurance will run the mile. If the offspring is lucky enough to have a guiding parent who loves and cherishes him, he has been blessed. Let us not forget the women in the role. A great father guides the women and the offspring. Life can be beautiful. So, this Father's Day, love and cherish your women and your offspring. Show them every kindness under the sun. And keep them from harm. Step Up, Rise Up, and take on the challenge of becoming a Father.
