Poem
Will you be my Chaperone and accompany to the town Will you take me to the city of lights so that I can behold the moon at midnight in its frame for I will never see it again, everything happen so quickly and the lights are tuned on in the city and everyone is looking happy; there is a special light that I want to see for the heavens will make a special wish it for me. Will you be my chaperone and take me to where destiny is bound, I came to the town all alone and I often roam the cotton field squeezing cotton out of their buds and skipping through the corn row until I have nowhere else to go and the earth lying bare in its frame lingers on and I try to compose a new song and the people that I see has closed their minds and they cannot see what I see for the cloud is circling around me and it is protecting me. Days have gone by but no one came, and I know that life will never be the same; there is something special waiting for you, but it is not easily attained and it’s not a game. It is the puzzle that you see and the vastness of the wide open sea, you cannot phantom it all you just have to wait for that once in a life time call and if you cannot hear you have to go in search of it until you fulfill your destiny. I fly over hills and valley’s searching for that special city that is filled with light and opens my appetite, it is the city where everyone meets and the place that can satisfy your need; you sometimes have to let things go until you are no longer part of the show, you travel a thousand mile and you could not find it, you wait until you are old and grey but you could not have it. Look around and you will see what I see, the earth is closing in on thee. Will you be my chaperone? Meet at the junction at the out skirt of the town that’s where the miracle is found.
