Poem
Two men, both in their early prime, Had their life-paths cross for a rather brief time. Each then traveled a different road; Where the other man was, neither one did know. An incident happened, which at first glance, Some might speculate was nothing but "chance." Jesus had become Lord of both these men, And He chose the right time to re-unite them again. Their bond was special-unlike any other; Because of Christ, these friends were now brothers' In the interval, one man had been blessed with two sons, (Alas, the other man had not even one') Two boys growing up together, Loving and worshipping God; why, it don't get any better' In church every Sunday with dad and mom, Building the proper foundation to build upon. And in answer to prayers of Father and Mother, These two men now are on tow levels-Brothers' Both married to fine Christian wives, With whom they will share the rest of their lives. The oldest has totaling four, The youngest-just one, but praying for more' 'Though these lads are young, it's easy to see, They will carry on this tremendous legacy. To see them with Grandaddy, you can tell they are loved, And their spirits will grow, thanks to God up above. Some future time, when the Lord brings them home, There will be a re-union of all men in this poem. And they'll be all in one family with millions of others, Forever united with their sisters and brothers' Arthur Ball (H.S.L.P.) August 26, 2007
