 CRIMSON SKY  

A crimson Sky breaks the distant shore
stargates opened veils upon veils
portals portending lyrical lemon drops
or so it seemed 
since senses were lost 
in open labyrinth lots

angels poured purple pearls 
lacing comely camomile into timeless space
I heard old lions roar below an empty nest
though my ears gone, where 
was nippy nose to smell woohoo fields 
so fragrant with bergamot to sneeze?
 
I who knew me was no more
ego, identity, avatar were 
not words I had to tick in boxes
______I had become 
 observer-listener-knower
transparent as cellophane 

Veins and arteries slithering 
  earthworms  d a n  
                                                 c i ng  in S k y 
            free from flesh or blood to run 
            graciously they murmured :
                     ‘What is to be done, is to be done’

I remembered a text by Lenin called
 ‘What is to be done’
it seemed centuries ago
here time had no grids, axis 
 numbers or clocks, experiences were points 
on  l u c i d  spirals flashing 

tiger lilies beckoned on another byway 
sensations, spinning signatures along 
country alleys forming new Rivers of Life
different degrees of 
L o v e
which competed not with glamoured goals

I realised crimson Sky lessons 
are taught this way
facets, strings, knots were muddles for 
mind to untangle, create flower-of-life patterns
mitochondria float below or above 
or omniversal, to a single destination 

~ ME, I, ALL, the Imperishable ~ 
who gifted our offerings 
His frequencies, fluting
cherries on top
Keep facing forward
said Sugarbird

the journey inward proliferates doubt

~ disconnect these convolutions ~

shaped like Cullinan diamond curved

crimson Sky collapsed, distant shore dissolved
a crescent moon fragment landed in 
my sunset H e a r t  
I  c i r c l e d  hammock with glittering crimson
