Come Holy Spirit. Come and take flight.
Pour out on men Your heavenly light.

Giver of gifts, You freely impart
The love of the Father to soften our hearts.

Lead us to knowledge. Help us to know
The love that You give us, the truth that You show.

Give us Your wisdom, judgment so true
That we might discern what we hear from You.

Come to us, Spirit, that we understand
All of the love that You offer to man.

Give us good counsel, help guide our way
That we safely follow, not going astray.

Grant us Your piety, make our hearts true
That we look at others and see only You.

Grant us, Good Spirit, fortitude, might,
Avoiding temptation to follow the light.

Give us, O Spirit a fear of the Lord
That we do His will without thought of reward.
