By May, 3 months passed,
We enjoyed three day trips to the nature.
We respected and polite towards each other.
Somehow I started developing feelings for you.
I knew from the beginning,
Our relationship could not be further than this.
I came up with an idea,
By not going to your 2nd home.
I stayed away to create some spaces,
Like "Out of sight out of mind"
That was when I found this place,
With an upright German piano.
With that in place, we still met
At the end of the day.

I suggested and you agreed we would travel
To L.E. on Tuesday 2024.5.7
Then, my friend called,
And asked if I could take her to L.E.
I thought that was a coincidence.
I remembered she asked me
About the same trip few years back,
But due to Covid, it was postponed.
However, knowing how you were like,
I decided to tell you about her,
You were not pleased at all,
And ended this and all other trips.
You explained you preferred to travel with me only.
At the end, the trip was cancelled.
That was not all. You started 
Keeping a distance from me,
I honestly had no idea,
It had upset you that much to the extend,
You acted like we were no more close friend.
I respected your decisions
And asked no questions.
At that time, the only thing I did was
Reminded you that you had promised me,
No matter what happened,
You would travel with me
At least once in July and in September.
Those trips meant a lot to me.
That were the promises you made months earlier.
You nodded and made your promises.

For the next three months,
One thing after another,
The bond we formed, excited
And worried me at the same time.
You were such a gentlement and so attentive,
You cared and shared things with me.
We enjoyed our quality time,
Sharing our past momories, interests and hobbies,
You appeared to me an expert in I.T.
You asked me the tricks
To make writting in white on a colour back ground.
During our time as friends,
You never said please ot thank,
And hardly spared the word "Good night"
You uttered appraisal only few times.
You liked me to explain certain Laws and Acts.
You were amazed of my life's knowledge,
Especially when it involved legal issues.

It had been one year,
I wondered if it was the right decision,
To stay away from you 
To keep my feelings at bay.
It was definitely "Out of sight out of mind" to you.
But it was "Absence made the heart grew fonder".
After 12 months, I still wonder,
Was it merely inflatuation or was it love?
Any way, whatever it was,
It no long existed, it had ended.
