When poetry cry’s So few achieved survival So many got stuck along the way Too many fell off the track So many died before the end Too many got to the finish line but Couldn’t cross over So many drawn on the high sea Too many gave up the pain with their last breath Cos the desert was so too hot to bear So many wishes were made before this trip Too many prayers was said along the way So many songs of inspiration from the voices willing to make it Too many feared yet kept courage alive So many were brave yet destiny was so far from luck Too many keep hoping to make it through at last So sad that all this victims were just Escaping Yes escaping Just to find a better life For the days yet to come When poetry cry’s Relate with reality my friend Cos you can never know What a new day can bring So tonight my pen bleeds Only for the quest of humanity How could the strong help the weak How will the fathers of our land be Our true mentors How could we walk the road of peace Together How is it impossible to love one another How can we grow pass wars Or are we meant for destruction Where I ask again is the conscience Of the world How come we suffer just to live How long will people keep dying Just To escape poverty Is a shame to humanity If ignorance of peace is pass on from generation to generation How can we do better Cos the kids needs a save planet to grow The young needs to truth to save our future So tonight my pen bleeds for peace again Let’s set ourselves free Life is beyond mere manipulation We can do better today for the days Yet to comes else We keep bleeding and this is When poetry cry’s Tributes to the struggling Common man Dedication to the world We need peace
