Poem

My children this is one miracle testimony
Of the many that I've seen God do.
As your father I would not share it,
If any part of it were not true.
We needed to relocate from Denver,
I planned for us to drive from there.
Took the car to a local mechanic,
The price of inspection and Analyzer was fair.
I returned for the car in a few days.
Before we were to leave.
He had inflated the final bill,
I was shocked, and just could not believe!
I do not have money like that! 
The inspection you said was free.
His reply, the labor is what cost,
"Pay up or your car will stays with me!"
I panicked and put us on a flight,
My new job started in two days.
I did not have the money requested,
Couldn't think of any other way.
Fear took hold once when we reached St. Pete.
I said "Lord, I know I've done wrong.
I left that car in the mechanics lot,
And to the dealership it still belonged!
The next week the dealer called, asking for their car.
I said I left it in Denver a mile from where you are.
I told him that I panicked and had left it behind.
He said "I'll call you tomorrow, you've committed a crime!"
I cried and prayed to God above, 
Saying I was wronged and didn't know what to do.
I'm trying to take care of my two kids,
Our fate now rest with You!
The next day the dealership person called,
"Said 20 years, I've never seen this before.
The Manager says He'll write it off.
Mr. Samples, you're free to go!"
This was nothing compared to some miracles,
I've seen when I was willing to believe.
God can do anything for you,
Must you must trust in order to receive!
