a luminous day is what I offered you
within the harbor of my spirit
you morphed into a phoenix
and soared in the sky of my desires
you flew in ecstasy
The pink sun bathed you with tenderness
you were unaware of my canvas
a lovely spring breeze arrived
my dream depicts the dust of love
ultimate joy
brightened my day
 
you found a raw version of me
In the arid oasis of my existence, 
your specter lingered in my soul
a haze of silver-lined zeal glimmered
diverting the tsunami of kismet
the full moon slipped you by
celestial dust drifted from the soft sky
zephyr longing concerto soared
you recall, I serenaded for you
I succumbed to darkness
you never inquired as for my day
I sacrificed since you deserved it
so my day could worship you

do you want to comprehend? 
the essence of real love.
genuine love is when you continue 
to appreciate someone 
even after the first feelings fade
even when they drive you to despair
love remains  
as it was at the onset
an embrace, a kiss upon the lips
the feeling from our initial kiss
though the past vanished 
fondness in my soul lingers
she might cease to love me

but I continue to adore her
I am insatiable for ampler
just akin to a wealthy man
even if she bruises me badly 
I'd still long her in my arms
I'd still wish to have her by my side 
even if she always stumbled me
thus, despite the pain 
she'd induce me
even if she didn't need me 
I would still long for her return
so, when you truly adore someone
it never truly fades away
even through grief and loss
I believe, defines real love
