Poem
O gentle night, embrace this restless heart most tenderly, As starlit dreams unfold—their soft caress with wisdom shine, In shadows sweet, our world of whispers spins a secret line, Your touch, a gentle breeze upon my soul, makes spirits free. Now is the time, the hour to cradle longing with sweet art, For far too long, in silent sighs, desires have grown so keen, Tonight, like symphonies of stars, a love once felt unseen, In glowing depths of twilight, I am ready; hear my heart. Oh, how I've longed for you, beneath the vast and silent sky, Imagining your presence as the days stretch like the sea, Your memory—a lighthouse beam—builds dreams so vividly, In endless reverie, your touch remains a gentle sigh. The ways your tender fingers carved soft sonnets on my skin, Engraved in timeless moments, linger sweet—a lover's lull, Those seconds, light as whispers, even time cannot annul, For you have been a universe that circled me within. Sweet thoughts of you erupt—like tidal waves unchained—each flow, In electrifying whispers, to the core they crash and drown, A pleasured storm, I sail within, though never shall I frown, For soon as I am near, serene, I’ll let my longing show. Could you, just once, a favor grant—a humble plea I make— May you please touch my yearning heart; unleash this longing free? In glowing moonbeams let our dream become a soft decree: This night unfolds its magic as two souls embrace and wake. Evoking how we met, soft-dancing sunlight through the blinds, A secret glance—a spark ignites as flames in silence yearn, Now every thought of you, my own shy symphony, will burn, To be your lady in this life is all my spirit finds. Each day, you are my northern star—a guide through realms unknown, Your presence paints my universe in hues of azure blue, A tapestry of love unweaved, but held in dreams of you, The skies await, as starflakes fall; we're not to be alone. He'd never muse that through my eyes, his image structures dreams, A weekend's joy, the only thought that swells beneath my chest, A moment's hindsight sees this heart, by love no longer lest, A passion art—our hearts aligned beneath broad moonlit beams. Don't hesitate, dear gentle friend, reach out, this is the clue: Like whispered promises that float on dreams by night designed, Transparency in twilit hearts, two souls at last entwined, Yet surely know, when closer still, my heart will sing to you.
