Lyric Epic Poem The gospel starts, a river flows, Of silver, bright and ever pure, The greatest song the spirit knows, A legacy that will endure. A kingdom grand, of sunlit gold, Where riches flow like endless streams, A story waiting to unfold, A tapestry of hopeful dreams. Our Lord is vast, a boundless sea, His power mighty, deep, and wide, He holds the stars in majesty, And in His love we all abide. His wisdom, oh, a boundless grace, Beyond the reach of mortal mind, He guides us to a sacred space, Where truest solace we can find. (Psalm 147:5 whispers on the breeze) The Ethiopian strength, a vibrant hue, A force that echoes through the years, A promise whispered, strong and true, Dispelling doubts, drying up tears. Though Job cried out in darkest night, Questioning the Almighty's plan, God's light still shines, a guiding light, Across the troubled soul of man. (Job 22:5, a shadow in the light) A marriage planned, a blessed union, Of power, wealth, and heartfelt grace, A hopeful start, a sweet communion, In this destined, sacred place. The bride adorned in shimmering white, Her heart alight with purest flame, The groom, a beacon, burning bright, Whispering her beloved name. (Nahum 3:9, a reminder of earthly might) And endless babes, a joyful sound, A legacy of love and cheer, On consecrated, holy ground, Dispelling every doubt and fear. A covenant made, a promise kept, By hands unseen, yet ever near, Where joy is sown, and sorrow wept, And hope's bright banner holds so dear. (Job 36:22-33, echoes power unconfined) The color of God, a radiant white, Reflecting truth, and purest love, A beacon in the darkest night, A solace from the world above. The Son descends, in brilliant light, A sacrifice for all to see, The Father watches, day and night, Planting seeds of liberty. The Holy Spirit, whispers low, Of peace that passes understanding, A current where true blessings flow, Towards a constant, gentle landing. (Ephesians 3:20, a promise overflows) More than we ask, or even dream, His power works within our soul, A vibrant, ever-flowing stream, Making us beautifully whole. Eternity stretches, vast and deep, No beginning, and utterly no end, While souls awake and spirits sleep, On Him our future does depend. The silver river still will flow, Through meadows bathed in golden light, The greatest song that spirit's know, Extinguishing the darkest, longest night.
