Poem
2025.3.2 Forty six weeks ago, BB and I came to SR, Victoria. I remembered, it was just like today, The weather was miserable. The dark clouds, the cold winds, and the low tides, The drizzle rain touched down The surface of the sea water, Formed lot of dimple wells before Dispersing one after another. The black swans pedalled in a group of five. Slowly and steady they floated in a straight line. After a while they all disappeared out of my sight. Amazingly, I visited this place more than six times, With different people and even on my own. Somehow, I always missed the Pelicans' feeding show. I think, I must be waiting for the right companion, Who would share with me the same passion, Enjoy travelling and interacting with animals' activities. Never mind, I was more than happy, To have the time and health, To enjoy the trip today. At 16:36:06, the sun rised high in the sky. The white clouds divided and moved separatedly, Let the blue sky slowly peeped through the clear open space. I have been sitting under the bridge, Watched the gentle waves Washing up closer to my feet. The sun rised higher so as the tides. Eventually, beautiful bright sun rays, Spreaded across the SR bay, The harbour and the entire bridge, Across the towns PI and SR. I was sitting at the opposite bus stop shelter, Where he and I used to sit, Waiting for the public transport, To travel back to Southern Cross. Although, forty six weeks had passed, Everything almost remained the same, Except the friendship had ended. In years to come, the natural scenery, The serenity towns and the weather, Would be more or less as they were, But we would never see each other. That was it. Could not have it, Could not have without it neither.
