Poem
I am the Voodoo Queen, draped in mystic skies, Where moonlight whispers and shadows lie. Beneath my veil, the arcane hums, The pulse of the midnight, where the serpent drums. Call me a witch, a name well-worn, Where magics bloom, and curses are born. But know this truth, as old as the sea: There is more to my craft than what eyes can see. Tread lightly, dear seeker; the ground is thin. The path to my power begins deep within. Will you risk the plunge, where the brave hearts tread? Or falter like many, half-living, half-dead? I hold the balance of love and wrath, Of blossoming dreams, and calamity’s path. For one whispered spell, a heart can ignite, Or a life can be shrouded in eternal night. The spirits I call are untamed and vast, Ancestors’ voices that echo the past. They speak in tongues only the daring can hear, A melody so sweet that will bring you the edge of fear. In the cauldron, the passions churn, A brew of allure, and souls that burn. A touch from my hand could set you a glow, Or leave you as ashes where cold winds blow. But heed my warning, my power is fire, It tempts and it tests, it will lift or conspire. Entangled in my dance, you’ll struggle for air, For rapture and chaos both linger there. Do you crave a potion to bind love tight? Or to taste forbidden pleasures in the night? I can give, but I take, I twist, and I spin, For every door opened, a cost lies within. And yet, if you tempt me, and awaken my rage, My storm consumes like a lion uncaged. A hex like no other, a curse so grim, The light will dim, and the skies will swim. The choice is yours, to come or to flee, To walk through the veil of eternity. Into my realm, were secrets crescendo, And magic and shadows forever blend. I am the Voodoo Queen—tread if you dare, Feel my storm and my solace hanging heavy in the air. The path is alive, it twists, it schemes, But if you are bold, step into my dreams. Beware, dear pilgrim, the stakes are steep— The call of my power is no shallow leap. But if you are true, and your soul does not scream, Come, and enter my voodoo dream.
