Poem
Little yellow flowers on dark green stems – hesitant blessings, flowing down from Him the Maker of all creation the Maker of light and grace the Maker, my precious Savior the Reason I believe in His gift, a cross, a love that forgives – every sin, all the worst I’ve been… dandelion wishes, just weeds yet they’re precious blessings to all who truly believe – in His garden there are flowers, whisperings melting the shadows and remembering despite the worst that has been He is the Savior of all who have sinned and, with Him, in His garden, I’m grateful for the hope, the faith, the love that is poured out from God above, signing this day in a promise of light who restores all the wrong makes the heart right…. Little yellow flowers, dandelions blown across the meadows, falling messily, so the world can see there is no reason to grieve – even the dandelions can see, He is the wonder in every tree He is the music in every song He is the light that lasts all life long breath in His love and fly like a dove quiet as a prayer, and just as rare – in His garden, where love lingers, always clinging, like dew, to the heavenly hue – not just a weed, but a part of the truth Love is everlasting, in the light – reflecting the One who heals each soul, the One who makes hearts whole… never forget the glory that assures us even the weeds are nurtured by God’s grace. Even the weeds see the wonder of His way a way past the doubt, a way through the clouds a way for life to be – everything He meant it to be, a life with a purpose, a life of unending peace. Praise God for all He is to me Praise God for who He is – the greatest hope the stirring of light, the wonder in wonderful, the reason I survive – all the shadows, all the doubts all the moments when I’m unsure what life is about the times when weeds take over my heart and I feel like I’m being blown to and fro, without a prayer, but He is still there offering me the assurance that He my reason offering me the joy that comes from knowing He is my life and He is my future He is my God and that is the purest beauty.
