Mother?
the cold and the dark rushed in
Absent only for the briefest of moments
That separated her from us
the total eclipse of the sun
She's not really gone
It is then that we begin to
understand our complete dependence on
Our Mother
and Her wondrous power
to create and order the energies
that nurture us
To hold in her orbit the immense
balled up masses of her afterbirth
her own creations
Our Mother blinks
and then we wonder at her awesome power
to hold us in her gaze.
In the cooling darkness
a portal opens up to view the ever more
wondrous universe
in which our Mother lives
and dances as a child
around the place of her birth
Traveling
Across the globe
it is amazing to feel the vastness of Her planet
One day becomes another
One day lasts forever
It is amazing
to feel the vastness
of our planet and travel around the globe
But how much greater to witness
our transit across the universe
unveiled in the shadows of Mother's smile
Mother's smile.
