Heaven hates, oh Heaven hates,
The darkness creeping through the gates,
Heaven hates, oh Heaven hates,
The wicked whispers and their fates.


They come around just after eight,
With hungry eyes and hearts that wait,
They cry of faith, a hollow state,
And empty plates, upon their plate.


They seek a muse, a twisted fake,
Their holy words, they start to break,
They lose their way, for goodness sake,
The lost shepherded, for darkness’ sake.


(Chorus - Strong, powerful vocals with choir backing)
Might as well put your hands together!
Put 'em together, oh come on brother!
Put 'em together, yeah, all together!
I got joy in my soul, light as a feather!


God is in control, through stormy weather!
I got Satan on my trail, yes, altogether!
But I’m singing all is well, forever and ever!
He's attacking every day, whatever, whenever!


But I'm watching while I pray, with all endeavor!
No matter the attack, I will endeavor!
I won't turn back, never, no never!
