January 15 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 43-45

FAITH IN GOD WHO IS MERCIFUL

God is merciful as well as omniscient, knowing our situation 
Offering to us His heaven-sent provision
Overtaking our illness with His healing’s protection…
Only Him we must obey straightly, midst faith, with our devotion.

God is merciful as well as omnipresent, going with us for our security 
Obliging us to do our best as we arise to perform our duty
Overextending to our days His grace as our Father Almighty…
Only Him we must follow readily, midst faith, with our sincerity.

God is merciful as well as omnipotent, bringing us to His deliverance 
Opening to us doors of communion for our peace-assurance
Overseeing our welfare by His faithfulness and gracious endurance…
Only Him we must yearn for joyously, midst faith, with our perseverance.

God is merciful as well as organized, settling us in His commandment 
Optimizing us of our stewardship and servanthood-fulfillment
Overhauling our trust toward prayerful accomplishment…
Only Him we must love wholly, midst faith, with our commitment.

God is merciful as well as optimistic, cheering us in His holiness 
Orchestrating us to leave humanistic principles of worldliness
Overruling our foolishness with His wisdom and righteousness…
Only Him we must submit to surely, midst faith, with our decisiveness.

God is merciful as well as orderly, instructing us in His standard 
Opposing us of our trouble and grief-causing moves so awkward
Overpowering our decisions needing His preservation-safeguard…
Only Him we must draw near to intimately, midst faith, with our heart-card.

God is merciful as well as operative, nourishing us in our fellowship 
Observing us of our discipleship by His partnership
Overriding our limitations regarding our relationship’s friendship…
Only Him we must praise gratefully, midst faith, with our worship. Amen!
