I might be going to jail tonight, I don't know for sure/
I'm riding out, before I leave I want to hold you close/
Tell me you love me, and if I go to jail/
Tell me you will be there for me, forever care for me/
We been together through thick and thin, right and wrong/
When I needed a hand, you gave an arm, and kept me strong/
You did everything you were supposed to do/
Kept it true to the bone like you were supposed to/
You was with it more than my entire crew/
That's why you with me more than anyone/
But tonight, I'm riding out, and I love you too much/
For me to jeopardize your life or see you in cuffs/
There is no telling what the future hold/
You my future and tonight I want to hold you close/
Cherish these moments in memory, you never know/
I gotta do what I gotta do when it's time to go/
All you can do is send me three wishes, wish for the best/
And hope I make it back from this test/
I hope to make it back, relax in my home once again/

This how we in the hood get our kid's school clothes/
And really, the family the only ones that understand/
They will be the only ones there if I get jammed/
If I don't have anything, I have a woman that's down/
So if I gotta do some time, I know she will be around/
And if I gotta do some time, I can do it in peace/
Knowing that I have a ride or die riding with me/
