I know there's something you wanna say
'Cause you ain't the same as yesterday's yesterday
You're far more distant from me then you used to be
Something's wrong - stopping you from being free
You're choking on whatever it is you wanna say
I promise though, I'll be totally okay
I promise whatever you say - I'll eventually move on
'Cause people have been doing this  to me for far too long
Why do I feel like you've told me lies?
Why do I feel like - now - our friendship's compromised?
You told me something today that was so a$$-backwards & wrong
So I'll just let you think you've known me for oh so long
I'll let you ponder & speculate on what you think I need
Or how you think a relationship is "so important to me."
I'll let you just assume that you think I can't live without it
But truth is - I've been wayyy over "lovey-dovey" sh!t
Like I've told you before over and over - I've NEVER been in love
'Cause nobody yet has fit that size of glove
Yet, there is one more question I must ask you -
Did NOTHING I ever say to you strike you as not truth?
Let me ask you - why'd you choose to lie to me?
Did you think I wouldn't figure it out eventually?
Why tell lies when u got a gun - & u ain't scared of sh!t?
So what is it that u seemed 2 PURPOSELY forget?
Why was that thing the only big one u failed 2 mention?
Why is that, tho, if u didn't have any ill-intentions?
The "niece" u babysit is ur daughter - isn't she?
No wonder why u asked how I got ur last name, initially
'Cause u tried 2 hide her - 'cause u know I hate kids
But 2 try & hide an ACTUAL child that lives?
If u knew from the beginning u had no intention of being mine
