Poem
I come from a distant star you probably never noticed and I am a time traveler leaping across the universes at will it happened that my star planet located a message from earth welcoming us to visit your world I have visited earth many times over the centuries but was eager to see present day earth so being brave I took up the challenge this would be my last visit as we are only allowed so many I was light-years away but it seemed but a moment landing in a wooded area in a blazing fire I saw an isolated cabin in the distance and walked there finding a man sleeping in bed I watched him for some time as he had a good face then, I walked around the cabin looking at things I saw a picture of a woman and l admired what I saw so, I took her image for this journey turning on this thing called the television people were talking and it took seconds for me to master the words then, I heard a gasp and the sleeping man said it can't be possible you have returned from the dead well, imagine my shock also the woman in the picture was his wife dead wife, oh well, I told him I was a time traveler after a bit of conversation he got more comfortable with me asking me questions about my star planet and I asked about his Earth we decided to take a drive in a thing called a car, so strange the scenery was delightful we stopped for food and he taught me how to eat with a fork I told him I was only here for three days then must return to my planet or die so we decided to just drive with no destination as I wanted to enjoy this world and this person I liked him, kind and good-hearted he taught me things I didn't even think I needed to know we talked and talked about earth's problems and people and we fell in love soon, it was time for me to return to my star planet I was sad to leave him, if I had a heart it would be broken what did I learn on this visit, I learned about love and of earth's beauty, and also the wars, pollution and starvation but, I had to leave and my last words were to him maybe one day I will return to you knowing that I could not ever return ...
