Poem

We are living in times of great unrest.
Which will put our metal to the test.
Whether left or right, right or wrong.
Why can't we dance to the same song?

Society seems to have lost its vision.
With so much hate and much division.
Democracy now down on its knees.
Politian's full of so much greed.

With governments that create confusion.
A manifesto to create illusion.
With so much deceit and disillusion.
Giving false belief and much delusion.

One rule for elites, another rule for others.
They laugh in the face of our sisters and brothers.
And why the left and right, they argue and fight?
The people seeking truth are hidden from sight.

Divide and conquer we know is their game.
To create discord and to fan the flame.
For though they seek to tear us all apart.
Together we stand with hope in our hearts.

Respect each other, let's embrace diversity.
Stop with this hate and so much hostility.
For truth is a beacon that flickers and shines.
It's a light in the chaos, which can bridge that divide.

Whether it's left wing or right wing, our cards are on the table.
We are living in times where we all wear a label.
While rich stack their fortunes, the poor face the blight.
In gutters they struggle, they vanish from sight.

We all bleed the same, with no creed or no race.
All our hearts beat the same, no matter which faith.
So let's rise up united and stand up as one.
Bring unity together and division be gone!
