Tears keep falling, 
My feelings, sprawling
The linemen, their calling…

Winds were still blowing,
My heart and soul, knowing,
Despite the storm, there’s flowing…

Love beyond what I can conceive,
Love that comforts those who grieve,
Love that lasts so I believe…

Each lineman has amazing drive.
His heart, his soul – made to survive,
Residents so thankful, power he’ll revive.

The donations, they just keep coming.
The devastation is simply mind numbing.
Thanks to God’s angels, we’re overcoming.

While nothing will ever be the same for us,
Our hearts are reminded, despite all the fuss,
We have friends who believe in Jesus!

When all is said and done – when volunteers are gone,
We’ll be left with hearts so full, please… let’s pass on…
The love, kindness, gifts of hope that’s helped us hold on!

While nothing we’ve seen can erase all the fears,
Remember those that helped us wipe away our tears,
And give back a portion of that love, with grateful cheers…

For the lineman, the volunteer, the kind heart who inspire belief,
Pray for the linemen, the volunteers and kind hearts who bring relief,
By giving, giving, giving so much more than I can say, in this time of grief…

They bring us hope that, possibly, we’ll soon see the light of day!

No, friend.. I don’t know your name,
But I thank God that you came,
Because of you, it’s our very lives we’ll reclaim!
