if we live our lives, by the 4r rule
this world we just might save...and cool

when it has a triangle then put in
the great big yellow...lidded bin

first recycle paper, bottles and the can
a step towards saving us...human man

next refuse the humble plastic bag
instead place items inside your swag

now just use and use...and then reuse
if we don`t...in time  we all will loose

your garden will grow...grow...grow
if into a compost vegie scraps  will go

save the water from your washing machine
in summer it can keep lawns lush and green

packaging say no...it will led us to reduce
the one big change we all need to introduce

don't let the bright colours caress or seduce
 be strong say no...don`t make any excuse

can't be seen in the same outfit twice
curb this thinking or we all pay one big price

over consuming is the one big mistake
our world  now needs us to curb and abate

we need to use some of our common sense
or we`ll end up paying one great big expense

don't laugh...it`s not so funny
you might even save some money

if we don't rise to take a stand
 this could be the end of human man

for many a drop makes an ocean
it`s such an old lost simple notion

do nothing, it`s all a con say the naysayer
if we listen we end up being one big payer

 now is the time for all to do our little bit
our old ways we need to cease and omit

the point of no return is close at hand
so together as one we now must band
