Poem
Whispers of unspoken goodbyes dance on the strings of my weary heart, Like a heavy shadow, a veil of black silk, wrapping around my wounded soul. My breath catches in my throat, memories flooding like a merciless torrent, And I remain suspended between what was and what could have been. Our parting, an unfinished symphony, a final chord still vibrating in the air, The promise of our eternity slowly melts, like a snowflake on summer's tongue. Our plans, sandcastles scattered by the relentless waves of time, Dreams interwoven with threads of sweet poison, nectar and venom in the same cup of destiny. Oh, how you enveloped me in your aura, enchanting and lethal in equal measure! Each touch, a drop of poisoned nectar, seeping deep into my being. Not out of cruelty, but ignorance, I let love become toxin, And I, mute in the face of my own disintegration, watched as we lost ourselves in each other. And yet, what a wonder is love that can simultaneously be balm and poison! Our memories, autumn's perfume, still float in the air heavy with nostalgia. I still see you, a graceful silhouette on a bicycle, your laughter - bells in the May wind, Long nights with series and noodles, endless conversations, gazes that said it all. How could this magic unravel? And yet, it dissipated like smoke. Our end, brutal as a fire, consumed everything we built together. The pain persists, a constant echo of loss, of the unspoken goodbye, And I wonder, how can I still love you, when you were the source of my suffering? My heart, a tireless rebel, still yearns for you with an intensity that frightens me, The longing for you, a living flame that burns and purifies every corner of my being. In your memory, I am now just a shadow, a whisper lost in the wind, And you, in the empty corner of my life, still search for the trace of my vanished presence. We are now two halves of a shattered whole, a melody abruptly interrupted, Our friendship, a bittersweet echo reverberating in the corridors of time. I carry with me the weight of your absence, a painful treasure hidden in my soul, And though I was the one who left, your imprint remains, indelible, on the canvas of my life. In the silence that followed my departure, I still feel the vibration of our last embrace, And in the painful ecstasy of remembrance, I rediscover the beauty of what we had. We are now two distant stars, shining for each other across infinite distances, And our love, though lost in time, remains eternal in the constellation of our memories.
