September 29 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Zechariah 5-9

Key Verse – Zechariah 5:4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts… 

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR BRINGING FORTH REPROOFS

Praise be to God for bringing forth reproofs to:
Correct us of our foolishness
Call for us toward freedom 
Chastise our faithlessness 
Check us against falsity
Challenge our faith

Zechariah 6:15 Praise be to the Lord for
enabling us to obey His voice: 
Speaking to us His truth
Sanctifying us for our triumph 
Settling us against testing turbulence 
Securing us upon His trustworthy testimonies
Saving us against terrors of tribulations and turmoil
 
Zechariah 7:2 Praise be to the Almighty for exhorting us
to pray unto Him Who:
Prospers us along His provisions
Perfects us through His purpose   
Performs in us with His power
Preserves us in His presence
Protects us midst His peace

Zechariah 8:8 Praise be to the Saviour for 
leading us in truth and righteousness:
Assuring our steps according to His direction
Affirming to our souls His Scriptural design
Attending to our supplications’ desire
Admonishing our stewardship-duties
Awakening our spiritual delight

Zechariah 9:17 Praise be to the Holy Spirit
for His goodness as well as His:
Graciousness so generous 
Governance always guiding
Gladness girded with gentleness
Gifts gripping us with His great grandeur
Grants gearing us toward good-works’ glow. Amen!
