Poem

Every page in the history of my life full of pride,
I feel proud my face turn bright - when I think India is my mother.
I breathe the generous air of my homeland
and in a blink of an eye
I forget the violence and find the door to peace to command .
Golden harvest your golden field-
I forget hatred I work together to collect yield.
I hear the sound of tranquillity in your sky and in the wind
there in your chest you are holding so many stories of equality and friendship
which your great sons are built.
You made me brave by inspiration to your brave son
the story of their courage and justice will forever be in my heart and
never be gone.
I always proud - as I am  Indian-
so seeds of equality and friendship in my blood are woven.
Your sky and the wind gave me- the love and love -
the river the solemnity - the sea - friendship, that I have.
Your golden field gave me the food - to live in joy
a multi-religious, multi-lingual speaker nation,
all they live in peace and the life they enjoy.
The land that generous as an ocean the land of great harmony -
India is my mother-
I feel proud my face turn bright - when I think my life story
will be written in this country altogether.
