Poem
You hear so many say, “Forwards,” a slogan of the day, especially amongst lefties, it’s all some of them say. As if it’s always a good thing, an unbreakable truth, (Not to mention an easy sell to young and unformed youth!) But a fish moving forward within an eagle’s claws… does not matter how fast it goes, it ends up in his jaws. Going forward when stuck in mud just makes the matter worse, going forward when data’s wrong makes your whole system hurt. Going forward on the wrong trail gets you all sorts of lost, going forward when in the wrong will just get your case tossed. The communists pressed fast-forward to build their worker’s state… the killed one hundred million souls, no utopia to date. Nazis said they would go forward and rebuild Germany, we all know how that path ended, in death and tragedy. The War on Poverty would move us forwards, they did claim, but handouts just bred dependence that to this day remains. It seems that when they cry ‘forward’ they always stomp your rights, and all they’re moving ‘forward’ to is controlling your life. Is it right to move forward for a youth gender confused? Forward to lies and ridicule, and self-deletion too? Was it ‘forwards’ to for force people to take untried vaccines? Youth heart problems and cancer spikes now come upon the scene. Was it ‘forward’ to rig the vote so none will trust again? Set the grounds for a civil war, the only question, when? So many people who cry this lead you down a dark path, and most don’t see what hell awaits, most minds cannot know that. It seems to me much better to not try to force a change, every time we try to do that it multiplies the pain. Society is a living thing, it evolves over time, and looking back on history most of the time I find the natural process of change brings a better result, better ideas continue on, the flawed notions get culled. And thought it may seem rather slow to one man’s point of view, it certainly slaughters less folk than ‘forward thinkers’ do. And it should be said bringing back a past approach that worked is not shameful, it just shows that from our mistakes you’ve learned.
