The future - present in the past...
Travellers of time persisting.
Duality - a duel of vast...
In two with missions existing.

Cyborg out for termination.
Determination - soldier sent
Whose purpose lies in salvation...
Proposal - killing to prevent.

Their race to outdo the other...
Success in mission completion.
Fate destined for one another
On a rampage of depletion.

An unsuspecting subject lies
In wait - oblivious to this.
Oblivion - the only prize
At certain costs - human crisis.

Cyborg, soldier, target present...
All within a set location.
Guns erupt - most every peasant
Meets their final destination.

The soldier's efforts standing out
With the cyborg neutralised.
Target acquired from this bout...
Shaken, shocked and traumatised.

Neutralisation only brief,
The cyborg rises up once more.
Both soldier and target make chief
Their escape through the nearest door.

Many face-offs yet to follow...
Situations, different places.
Target finds these hard to swallow...
Still, survives all of the chases.

Their protection - the soldier's cause
Into final confrontation.
Aim of conclusion, every pause
Of cyborg - extermination.

Can the soldier end and undo
All of the cyborg's infliction?
Both are ready - they progress to
Victory out of their friction.
