Poem
In the twilight of my soul, where shadows stretch and yawn, Everything around me seems to evaporate into the abyss, All my life, my memories, and my imagination slipping away Into a vast, silent void, as if whispering a final farewell. Yet within me, there pulsates a reservoir of dreams, The dreams of the entire world, clinging to the fragile Threads of hope that defy the dissolution of my being, In the midst of this melancholic evaporation of all I have known. We are the architects of meaning, the weavers of faith, Creating purpose from the silken threads of our yearning hearts, Even as the positions once held dissolve In the undeniable presence of eternal absence. Is it not a silent dance, this home that never left, A paradox wrapped in the timeless veil of existence That never truly was, yet perpetually is, an enigma living In the heart of every fleeting moment, every ephemeral dream? As the ephemeral fabric of my life unravels, There remains a profound beauty in that which is transient, A whisper of infinite possibilities residing in The expanse of that evaporation which never truly disappears. I am but a vessel, carrying the weight and wonder Of countless dreams, navigating through the spectral mist Of an existence woven from both presence and absence, A poetic symphony of memories and imaginations. In this quiet introspection, where all that was Melts into the essence of what is to become, I find solace in the silent, unwavering truth That meaning resides not in permanence, but in the ephemeral. For as we stand on the edge of the unknown, We hold within us the power to dream, to believe, To create and recreate our world with every breath, Finding our home in the eternal dance of presence and absence. Thus, in this ephemeral twilight, where life dissolves Into the quiet embrace of the infinite, We find ourselves, the dreamers, the creators of meaning, Weaving significance from the very essence of the dream.
